Allamanda Pylon Job

Just wanted to personally thank you for your involvement in this job. Our client is over the moon with the result and Redbacks certainly are a major part of that.

Ashley Higgins – Higgins Signs and Plastics Pty Ltd

St Columban’s

Redbacks Engineering has completed the following projects to St Columban’s College:

- Relocate one 8m x 6m machinery shed including new concrete slabs, Engineer’s drawings and certification
- Fabricate and install an 11m x 8m covered area outside the Mary MacKillop Performance Centre including Engineer’s drawings and certification
- Fabricate and install curtain grid system above stage for front of house, back of house and wing curtains
- Fabricate and install handrails and gates to loading dock
- Fabricate and install handrails to stage in the Mary MacKillop Performance Centre
- Fabricate one set of Rugby Union posts.

Redbacks have delivered all of the above projects on time and on budget. The work carried out at the Mary MacKillop Performance Centre was particularly difficult as this was a new building and wanted to ensure that the additions matched the existing buildings, Redbacks were able to achieve this as a considerable cost saving to the College.

I have always found Mick very easy to work with, nothing is too much trouble and he takes this time to find cost effective solutions whilst meeting the design intent of the project and ensuring that the quality of finished product is not compromised. The trade’s people at Redbacks Engineering are always courteous and polite with full understanding of what is required when working in a School environment.

I am also acting as the Project Manager for the Aquatic Centre project at St Peter’s Primary School where Redbacks Engineering is the Principal Contractor. This project is running very well and the coordination of the sub trades has been managed very well by Mick, I have no doubt that Redbacks will meed the completion date for this project of October 25th.

I would have no hesitation recommending Redback Engineering for the type of construction projects mentioned above.

Pat Greene – Facilities Manager – St Columban’s College

St Peter’s Catholic Primary School

I write this reference to acknowledge the competence and quality of work of Redbacks Engineering.

Mick Smith was engaged by St Peters to remove asbestos, demolish an old hall and construct a car park in 2010. This project was completed at a price 40% lover than the nearest tender. It was completed on time and to a standard that exceeded our expectations.

Mick was awarded the tender to build our Swimming Complex. This 1.4 million dollar project will be completed ahead of schedule and to a very high standard of workmanship. His price was significantly lower than estimates and even lower that the engineer’s quantity surveyor estimates. He has been a gentleman to deal with and has been professional and flexible during the project to allow the school to function as normal. He has been well on top of WPHS expectations and legislations and there have been no concerns of any kind in this regard.

Mick is well known in the community and has an extensive list of local subcontractors who are more than satisfied to be in partnership with his business.

I have no hesitations in recommending him for future work in school projects or any other construction project as principal contractor or subcontractor.

When approached for critical maintenance jobs at short notice, Redbacks have always accommodated us in a timely manner, with quality workmanship.
